Screening and treatment for all Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) is available as well as same day HIV testing and testing for Hepatitis B and C.

A wide range of contraceptive methods are offered, including contraceptive pills, contraceptive injection (Depo-Provera), contraceptive implant (Implanon) insertion and removal, and IUD and IUS insertion (appointment needed).

Emergency contraception, condoms and cervical screening (smear) are also provided to patients as required.

Sexual Health Services is open from Monday to Friday and it is possible to access services without an appointment (with the exception of the Implant Clinic). However it is recommended that you make an appointment by calling 01253 957171, as priority will be given to patients with an appointment. Sexual Health Services also offer a number of Community Contraceptive Clinics in Blackpool.
