Following the success of the Dying Matters conferences of 2013 and 2014, the third annual Dying Matters Conference will be held on Thursday 21 May at the De Vere Village Hotel, Blackpool.

This is a FREE community awareness educational event organised to coincide with Dying Matters week. The aim is to raise awareness of the issues around death, dying and bereavement amongst members of the local community to allow us all to talk, plan and live.

Death is never an easy thing to talk about, but careful planning for end of life can make a huge difference to every individual and their loved ones. The day will encourage people to think about:

  • Planning for their future care and support
  • Recording their funeral wishes
  • Making a Will
  • Registering as an organ donor
  • Telling your loved ones your wishes

Come along, arm yourself with all the facts – then inspire and inform other members of your community. With keynote speakers, moving personal testimonials and practical advice, this is an event you should not miss.

The event, organised by the Fylde Coast End of Life Awareness Group in partnership with Trinity Hospice is FREE and will include a delicious buffet lunch and an opportunity to visit a “market stall” exhibition. Places are limited, so reserve yours today by completing this registration form.
