Blackpool CCGs Chief Clinical Officer, Dr Amanda Doyle OBE, has been named as Co Chair of NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC).
Democratically elected from across the membership and representing geographical constituencies and member networks, the 26 strong board will shape the work programme and priorities of NHSCC ensuring it represents the issues that matter at national level.
Dr Doyle said of her appointment: “The new NHSCC board is made up of some extremely high calibre people, which showcases the level of leadership in Clinical Commissioning Groups across England. I am really looking forward to working with them all to drive NHSCC forward and continue to represent the issues that matter to our members, ensuring solutions are found to help commissioners to be able to deliver the best possible health care for their patients and local populations.”
