Add drop in sessions to your diary
Blackpool residents will have more chances to provide their thoughts on what works and what doesn’t when it comes to local health services.
NHS Blackpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that ‘buys’ and plans health services across the town, is inviting residents to attend one of its ‘Your Voice’ sessions to share any compliments, comments or complaints that they may have about local NHS services.
In order to encourage more people to take the time to visit a session and give their feedback the CCG has planned sessions months in advance so they can be added to calendars.
The group has also arranged for one session to take place in a regular slot at Central Library in the town. The session will be a regular feature on the second Tuesday of every month for the rest of the year between 10am and 12pm. Sessions at other venues will continue to change each month in order to give people a better chance to visit a session near them.
The sessions are an ideal opportunity to provide feedback on a recent experience of an NHS service or give views on the CCG’s plans and priorities. The sessions operate on a drop-in basis and so there is no need to make an appointment. Simply visit one of the below locations at the specified time:
- Tuesday 11 April, 10am – 12pm, Central Library, Queen Street FY1 1PX
- Thursday 20 April 2017, 2pm – 4pm, Palatine Library, St Annes Road FY4 2AP
Dr Amanda Doyle, a Blackpool GP and Chief Clinical Officer at NHS Blackpool CCG said: “Good or bad, we really value the views of Blackpool residents and want to make sure that everybody has an opportunity to share theirs with us. The Your Voice sessions are an ideal opportunity to talk face-to-face with a member of our engagement team.
“All of the views and experiences gathered will help us to make sure that Blackpool residents receive services of the highest standard, now and in the future.”
If you are unable to attend one of these planned sessions but would like to share your views on local services you can do so via the CCG’s website at: www.blackpoolccg.nhs.uk/yourvoice.
