Managing Conflicts of Interest
The CCG Governing Body has approved the Managing Conflicts of Interest Policy (including Gifts and Hospitality), which follows the new NHS England statutory guidance.
Registers of Interests
Governing Body members, GP member practices, CCG staff, Midlands and Lancashire CSU embedded team staff and contractors are required to declare conflicts or potential conflicts of interest in relation to business conduct.
The CCG has a Conflict of Interest Guardian, who is there to act as a conduit for GP practice staff, members of the public and healthcare professionals who may have concerns regarding conflicts of interest. This role also acts as a safe point of contact for employees or workers employed within the CCG to raise concerns in relation to the CCG’s Managing Conflicts of Interest Policy (including Gifts and Hospitality). If you wish to raise any concerns, this can be done in the first instance by contacting the CCG’s Secretary to the Governing Body
