South King Street Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity to appoint an Interim Practice Manager.

We are an average-sized practice of approximately 6000 patients with 2 GPs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, a Practice Pharmacist and 1 HCA, with supporting reception and administration staff. We have a high QOF achievement, a “Good” CQC rating, and plan to be part of a new build and merge in the near future.

As the Interim Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a surgery. We are looking for someone who has good organisational skills, IT skills and communication skills. You will need to present and analyse data to monitor quality, attend local meetings, deal with complaints, manage staff and human resources, look for new opportunities for service development, and handle finance systems (including payroll).

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You must be able to work well on your own, as well as being an integral part of our larger practice team. This is the ideal opportunity for someone wanting to step up and gain valuable experience as a Practice Manager.

We are a new, young and dynamic Partnership of two Partners. We are looking for an Interim Practice Manager who can develop a shared vision of new systems, organisation, and innovation to move us forward with the upcoming new build and potential merger.

Start date: Immediate.

Fulltime (37.5 hours). Starting salary up to £38K per annum but dependent on experience and negotiable.
