The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is inviting Fylde Coast residents to share their experiences of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ahead of a follow-up inspection.
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. It monitors, inspects and regulates services to make sure they meet standards of quality and safety.
The Trust was last inspected in January 2014 and given an overall rating of requires improvement. Inspectors will return to the Trust to check whether improvements have been made. The formal inspection of the Trust will start on 21 September 2015.
The inspection team are particularly interested in hearing the local public’s experiences of care over the past year but also to say where they would like to see improvements made in the future.
